In the making of the OceanTote, plastic waste is collected from areas 0-50 km from shore, actively diverting it from entering the ocean. The waste is then taken to a local recycling depot for sorting. Once sorted, the plastics are recycled into GRS Certified RPET Pellets that are free from contamination.
RPET pellets are then transformed into durable fibers, ready to be sewn into usable items. These RPET fibers are carefully sewn into reusable bags (aka our OceanTote), which can be custom-branded and designed to meet your brand’s specific requirements.
